Rachael A. Fine

Rachael A. Fine graduated from Elon University in May 2010 with a BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography and a minor in Exercise and Sport Science.  She has been dancing since the age of 4 and has trained with Fredericksburg School of Performing Arts, Orange School of Performing Arts, the Rock School of Ballet Summer Intensive, and Los Angeles Contemporary Dance Company.  Her technique training includes Music Theatre, Contemporary, Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Modern, Tap, African, Hip-Hop, and Irish Step-Dancing.

Rachael was an active member of the Elon Dance Company throughout her Elon career.  She has performed in almost every concert Elon Dance Company has offered including:  four Fall Dance Concerts, four Spring Dance Concerts, four Senior Dance Thesis concerts, two TAPPED OUT! tap concerts, three choreography salons, three DanceWorks concerts, and two Dance in the Landscape concerts; she has also represented Elon at the 2008 North Carolina Dance Festival and the 2009 and 2010 American College Dance Festivals.

In addition to her dedication to Elon Dance Company during college, Rachael was a member of ElonThon 24-Hour Dance Marathon and served as the secretary of Elon DanceWorks student-run concert dance organization.  Her internship experiences include:  kearns dance project, L.A. Contemporary Dance Company, and FremantleMedia Productions.

Rachael currently lives in Washington, D.C., teaches 4th Grade in Arlington, Virginia, and is a 200 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher.
